Mr Yap is the Chairman and independent non-executive director of CityNet Infrastructure Management Pte Ltd.

Mr Yap is the executive director of Straits Trading Company Limited, the lead independent director of Tiger Airways Holdings Ltd, an independent non-executive director of Citibank Singapore Limited as well as a non-executive director of SPI (Australia) Assets Pty Ltd. He also serves as a board member of the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority and as a member of the Public Accountants Oversight Committee.

Mr Yap has worked in senior management roles in multinational and listed companies.

Mr Yap holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the National University of Singapore and is a Fellow of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and CPA Australia.

Mr Kenneth Tan
Independent Director and AC member

Mr Tan, Senior Counsel, is also an independent director of CityNet Infrastructure Management Pte Ltd and a non-executive director of General Storage Company Pte Ltd and SingPost Storage Company Limited.

Mr Tan is currently the Senior Partner of Kenneth Tan Partnership. He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor to the Supreme Court of the Republic of Singapore in 1984 and was appointed Senior Counsel in 1997. He taught at the Faculty of Law of the National University of Singapore from 1983 until 2001 as a Senior Tutor and later as an Adjunct Senior Fellow. He was also a partner of Drew & Napier between 1988 and 1989, a partner of Rajah & Tann between 1989 and 1994 and a partner of Shook Lin & Bok between 1994 and 1996. From 1992 to 1997, he was a member of the Senate of the Academy of Law. Mr Tan is a fellow of the Academy of Law and a member of the Law Society of Singapore. He is one of the chairmen of the Law Society Disciplinary Tribunal and an accredited Arbitrator with the Singapore International Arbitration Centre and the Regional Centre for Arbitration in Kuala Lumpur. Mr Tan graduated with an LLB, First Class honours from the National University of Singapore in 1983.

Dr Chew Tuan Chiong
Independent Director and AC Chairman

Dr Chew is currently Chief Executive Officer of Frasers Centrepoint Asset Management Ltd, the Manager of Frasers Centrepoint Trust.

Dr Chew was the Chief Executive of Science Centre Singapore, a government statutory board, from 1995 to 2009 during which time he transformed the place into a vibrant world class venue and doubled visitorship to above one million per annum. Prior to the Science Centre, Dr Chew worked with the National University of Singapore, Daimler Benz in Germany and British Gas PLC in the UK, and was also an Adjunct Professor with the Lee Kong Chian School of Business at SMU. Dr Chew is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Singapore. A former government scholar, Dr Chew holds a doctorate from University of Cambridge, an M Eng from the National University of Singapore, and a B Eng (1st Class Hons) from Monash University. Dr Chew has been awarded the Sugden Award by the Combustion Institute (UK), the Institute of Physics Cadi Scientific Medal and the Public Administration Medal (Silver) (Singapore).

Mr Sean Slattery
Non-Executive Director

Mr Slattery is a non-executive director of CityNet Infrastructure Management Pte Ltd. He is presently Vice President (Regulatory & Interconnect) at Singapore Telecommunications Limited (“SingTel”). In this role, he is responsible for managing regulatory and interconnect matters for SingTel and provides advice on regulatory and interconnect matters to SingTel’s regional partners. He joined SingTel in July 1998 and has been involved in all regulatory, interconnect and network access issues, including the negotiation of interconnection agreements and other wholesale agreements.

Prior to joining SingTel, he was with Optus Communications in Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Sydney in Australia and is a Certified Practising Accountant.

Mr Tong Yew Heng
Independent Director

Mr Tong is the CEO of CitySpring Infrastructure Management Pte Ltd and a non-executive director of CityNet Infrastructure Management Pte Ltd. Prior to joining CitySpring, Mr Tong was with Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited (“Temasek”) for 11 years from 1995 to 2006 where he held various positions, including as a director of investments (energy and resources) where he led a team responsible for sourcing, evaluating and making investments in the energy and resources sector.

Mr Tong’s experience in Temasek includes stewardship of companies in Temasek Group, direct investments, investments in private equity funds, mergers and acquisitions, privatisations and divestments.

Mr Tong graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree from the University of Strathclyde (United Kingdom) and holds a Master of Business Administration from the Nanyang Technological University. He also attended the Program for Executive Development at the International Institute of Management Development, Switzerland in 2000 and is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
