Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network (Next Gen NBN)
The Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network (Next Gen NBN) is Singapore’s all-fibre ultra-high-speed broadband network, a project under the Intelligent Nation 2015 (iN2015) masterplan by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA), that is capable of delivering speeds of 1Gbps and above, to all homes, offices and schools to offer pervasive connectivity around Singapore. With such a network in place, Singaporeans will be able to enjoy a richer broadband experience with more choices and at more affordable prices. Businesses, large and small, will find it cheaper and easier to access ultra-high-speed broadband, and be able to use infocomm more extensively to boost productivity and competitiveness.
